This pandemic is not only impacting individuals and families, but it also creates a massive burden on business. October aims to solve these problems.

Work Environment:

October has a WFH environment with 2 in-office days per week. We have an office in Johannesburg, and are hiring staff in Johannesburg for this role.

Job Summary:

To oversee the client onboarding process and ensure that clients are obtaining maximum value from the October Health product offering. To establish client relationships, and leverage knowledge of employee wellness, organisational development and HR consulting to help solve mental health related productivity challenges in the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding

    • Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and comprehensive understanding of October Health's product offering.
    • Execute the agreed-upon onboarding plan, ensuring all necessary documentation and materials are prepared and provided to the client.
    • Monitor the success of the onboarding process and customise/adapt where necessary to align to the client’s needs.
  • Relationship Management & Customer Success

    • Facilitate the transition from onboarding to ongoing customer success management.
    • Plan and conduct monthly client meetings where metrics obtained from the October Health Insights portal are analysed and interpreted, and action plans are agreed.
    • Continuously monitor and report on the adoption and utilisation statistics of the App in the client organisation.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Actively contribute to the development of customer success strategies.
    • Ensure that clients are obtaining maximum value from the platform and services that October Health provides.
  • Contribute to Product Development

    • Contribute meaningfully to the ongoing development of the October Health product and services.
    • Identify potential gaps or areas for improvement in the October Product and propose innovative ideas to enhance the adoption, utilisation and value add of the App and Portal.
  • Data Analytics & Insights

    • Collect, analyse and prepare employee data for upload.
    • Analyse data in the October Insights Portal to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that can inform organisational development interventions and strategies.
    • Offer evidence-based recommendations to clients, helping them make informed decisions to enhance organisational effectiveness and employee well-being.
    • Track adoption and utilisation metrics to measure the impact of implemented strategies and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Thought Leadership

    • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in organisational psychology, HR, and workplace mental health.
    • Share insights and perspectives gained from industry knowledge and experience with internal teams and clients.
    • Write articles and present webinars on wellness-related topics.
    • Prepare mailer content for business users of the App.
    • Engage in networking opportunities and collaborate with industry peers and experts to exchange ideas and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in relevant areas.
    • Conduct research assignments on designated topics on behalf of clients.
  • General

    • Keep all documentation and copies of correspondence to October Health clients and colleagues in an orderly fashion.
    • Collect, process, store and dispose of personal, sensitive and confidential information in a manner that complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
    • Take on other accountabilities and perform other tasks and duties to meet the organisation’s needs.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Psychology. Honours Degree preferable.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resource or Organisational Development Consulting or Employee
  • Wellness/Benefits.
  • Understanding of organisational design is beneficial.
  • Experience in HR technology is an advantage.
  • Competent in the Google Suite
