Work Environment:

Panda has a WFH environment with 2 in-office days per week. We have an office in Johannesburg, and are hiring staff in Johannesburg for this role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a data-driven, analytical, and process-oriented individual to manage and grow the October Forest, our core offering of digital group sessions. This role involves a mix of strategic planning, operational management, and data analysis to enhance the effectiveness and reach of our mental fitness focused service. In your role, you will be pivotal in supporting our mission to deliver accessible, high-quality mental health care.

Your focus will be on the growth, quality, performance and management of the October Forest.

Responsibilities:

  • Forest Development: Strategize and implement plans to expand the October Forest, ensuring a broad range of topics are covered to meet the diverse needs of our users.
  • Session Management: Oversee the scheduling and management of both open and private Forest sessions, coordinating with mental health professionals and guest hosts to deliver exceptional service.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize the October Insights Portal and your own skills to monitor and analyze data on session engagement, user feedback, and mental health trends to inform decision-making and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of mental health sessions through regular review and optimization processes, maintaining October's standards while scaling the platform.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for the Forest, including contractor payments and resources needed for session delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business clients to arrange private sessions tailored to their needs and provide support to their leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of contractors, mental health professionals and support staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver October's services effectively.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a management or analytical role, preferably within healthcare, wellness, or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of mental health services and digital health platforms is a plus.
  • Strong technical competency to utilize various platforms, data tools, backends etc to manage the Forest.

Bonus Experience & Attributes:
